New Life Church

Thank you so much for taking the time to read about our Arts Department.
God is touching hearts and changing lives at New Life and we feel honored to be instruments of God during this time. Our choir recently encouraged our congregation during Resurrection in a celebration called “Beyond the Tomb”. Our pastor, Mike Owens, was a part of this great day by delivering a Word from the Lord and has continued the series of challenging our hearts to go BEYOND THE TOMB during the month of April. A special word of encouragement was given to our choir by a fellow choir member, who happens to be a called man of God, Rev. Ron Fugate. I wanted to take the time to share this word so that we all can be reminded what our S.O.N.G. means to each one of us.
S.- We are the SAVED! John 5:10-13
O.- We are OVERCOMERS! John 5:1-5
N.- We are in a NEVER ENDING BATTLE! Deut. 20: 1-4
G.- Until…we GET HOME! Psalm 84:1-3

We are SAVED to OVERCOME a NEVERENDING BATTLE to GET HOME!

Think of this the next time you begin to sing a S.O.N.G. from your heart to HIS heart.

Psalm 89:1 says, “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.” That is our heart’s longing in the Arts Department at New Life Church. We believe that it takes a lot of different faces to sit around a table to be a family, therefore it is our desire when someone comes and sits at the “table” we have prepared they will find something to satisfy their “taste”. Our type of worship at New Life is a blended worship of hymns, gospel, and contemporary praise and worship. On any particular Sunday the Thanksgiving Choir and Band may lead us into O, I Want To See Him, a 1930’s hymn, and then into the popular praise song Days of Elijah. From young to old, every generation is focused on the desire to see our Lord and Savior.
