I Corinthians 13 (Message) 1 If I “sing” with human eloquence and angelic ecstasy but don't love, I'm nothing but the creaking of a rusty gate. 2If I “sing” God's Word with power, revealing all his mysteries and making everything plain as day, and if I have faith that “sings” to a mountain, "Jump," and it jumps, but I don't love, I'm nothing. 3-7If I give everything I own to the poor and even go to the stake to be burned as a martyr, but I don't love, I've gotten nowhere. So, no matter what I say, what I believe, and what I do, I'm bankrupt without love.
Mission of Thanksgiving Choir:
Our goal in 2010, as the Thanksgiving Choir and Praise Band, is to sing and show the love of Christ not only during our Sunday Morning worship service, but in our daily lives. We desire to let our voices be instruments of praise and worship to uplift all who desire to know Jesus. We pray that during the worship service at New Life that people will be able to see the love of Jesus in our lives, hear his love song to them through our voices, and feel his mighty power through song.

Psalm 89:1 “I will sing of the Lord’s great love forever; with my mouth I will make your faithfulness known through all generations.” (NIV)
Just as we know that not one person who has been created has the exact fingerprint as anyone else on earth, we also know that the worship we give to the Lord obtains the same uniqueness of a fingerprint. Our heart’s longing is for each person that desires to come and sit at our “family gathering” on Sunday will be able to worship in their own uniqueness. Just as a family meal can have a variety of foods our worship service has a variety of musical blends from hymns, gospel, to contemporary praise and worship. We worship with songs that you might hear on a Gaither Homecoming video, a Kurt Carr Worship DVD, or a Passion Conference. We want EVERY generation to feel a freedom to worship our Lord and Savior.
